Overview

Heat in Pharmaceutical

Pharmaceutical manufacturing needs heat that is precise, clean and easy to document — in process water and solution tanks, drying and sterilising ovens, blister packing machines and laboratory equipment. MaxVolt supplies stainless-steel immersion, circulation, air and cartridge heaters and accurate RTD sensors for these applications.

In pharmaceutical plants, a heater is part of a validated process. Temperatures have to be held tightly, materials in contact with the product must be suitable, and the equipment has to be documented.

MaxVolt builds heaters with stainless-steel sheaths and wetted parts, sealed terminations for clean areas, and RTD sensors for accurate control — matched to the material and documentation requirements you specify.

Thermal Challenges

Problems we solve for this industry

Material and hygiene requirements

Heaters in contact with product or process water must not corrode or contaminate.

Our approach: SS316 sheaths and wetted parts can be specified, with smooth, cleanable surfaces.

Tight temperature control

Drying, coating and stability processes allow only small temperature deviations.

Our approach: Accurate RTD sensors and correctly sized heaters give stable control.

Documentation for validation

Validation needs records for the equipment used in the process.

Our approach: Tell us which test reports and material records you need, and they are supplied with the heaters.

Clean-area installation

Exposed terminals and fibrous insulation are a problem in clean rooms.

Our approach: Sealed terminal enclosures and enclosed elements suit clean areas.

Applications

Applications & recommended heaters
